This is what happens when a hummingbird hits a flypaper strip.

The bird was found under a fly strip in a garage. It apparently got stuck while trying to "steal" bugs as they often do from spiderwebs, then struggled free only to fall exhausted after losing too many feathers to fly. It may have had other injuries, and did not survive.

The homeowners were horrified, as you would imagine. They immediately removed the flypaper, and they now realize their first mistake was leaving the garage door open unnecessarily.

Don't let this happen to you.
