Privacy Statement

I hate spammers. All spammers should be impaled on long, thorny stakes in public places, their agonized bodies left to rot as a lesson to others.

If you send me email, your personal information will not be shared with anyone else, or even added to my address book. Most likely I'll delete your message after reading it. Exception: if you ask a question I can't answer, I may forward it to a trusted colleague who will respond directly. My trusted colleagues hate spammers as much as I do.

If you submit a migration report, I ask for your email address in case I need to verify details (reports without email addresses are deleted immediately, and will not be mapped). I may forward your report to the Journey North educational project, so schoolchildren can use the data to learn about science and nature. Journey North is an honorable organization that will protect your anonymity.

In no case will your personal information be sold, given, rented, or otherwise disclosed if there's the slightest chance it might be used for a commercial or unethical purpose.

No lawyers were harmed (or paid) in the preparation of this page.
